Annette Johnson has worked in the charitable and non-profit arena since 2006. She is directly involved in developing charitable partnerships between LegacyTree Foundation and other charities and non-profits in order to help them develop additional funding sources. She has structured and closed over 175 charitable planned giving transactions to benefit families as well as charities and non-profits around the country.
Prior to her work in the non-profit sector, she spent over 20 years in the financial services industry as a Series 7, Series 24, and Series 66 registered representative with UBS, PaineWebber and J.C. Bradford. She was both a sales specialist and an annuity compliance analyst for over 8 years in the area of fixed and variable annuities, where she consulted with advisors and evaluated transactions for suitability and full disclosure. She participated on numerous industry-wide roundtables to help develop suitability review guidelines to be adopted as best practices within the industry.
In additional to her specialized work with annuities, she spent 12 years as a Series 52 licensed financial advisor to over 40 municipalities in both Texas and Tennessee, advising them on the structuring and issuance of their municipal bond offerings.
She currently serves on the Board of Directors of Feed America First, a charity providing food to needy people in rural areas of the USA, is a member of NAFA (National Association for Fixed Annuities) and is active within her church in Williamson County, TN.
She resides outside of Franklin, TN and enjoys drawing, painting and all the varieties of music available in Nashville-Music City USA, especially bluegrass, Americana and classic rock.
